The University maintains a number of maps for different purposes. They provide a great source of campus information and can be used to find buildings by name or location. Links to campus maps and others are listed below.
- Provides building names and locations.
- Provides locations of Campus Storm Shelters.
- Provides locations of Emergency Blue Phones.
- Provides locations of AEDs and Stop the Bleed Kits inside buildings.
- Provides an After-Dark Walking Route that is well-lit.
- During large events, such as UA game days, it may be difficult to locate someone on the Quad. Each light pole is marked with a placard just above eye level that starts with a “W” or “E”. These numbers can be used as a reference point for emergency responders.

During severe weather events, it’s important to know where you are located on a map so you can know if severe weather is going to impact you.
Tuscaloosa County is located in West Central Alabama. Since severe storms usually move from west to east, it’s important to know the names of the counties that border Tuscaloosa. If you hear reports of severe storms in Greene or Pickens counties, pay attention, as these storms may be moving toward Tuscaloosa County and the City of Tuscaloosa
The dot on this map represents the City of Tuscaloosa.
